If you're thinknig "HOLY @#$%^ It's a Medic Pack!" You'd be right. My nerdom has topped out at cosplaying the medic. Not a RED medic, oh no, those are a dime a dozen, but a BLU medic, now there's something rare.

If you'd like to know how I constructed this monstrosity check out [link]
Want one for your very own? I'll be making them on request for $200 (includes gun and pack). Suspenders connect the pack & the gun lights up. Happy Cosplaying.

Also check out :iconpropmedic: for his fantastic medigun layout.

very nice job...i actually saw you on cosplay.com before i saw you here...absolutely love the authenticity of your medi gun and i'm planning on making one for the penny arcade expo in august. I'm planning to go as a slightly less acurate one since i'm a girl...and since i can't TRULY be a medic from the game i'm gonna vamp it up...like a hot tf2 blue medic...at least thats the plan! I'm gonna use your step by step to make one however i have a couple questions like...

where did you get the all important camping lamp that charges that way? I would have never thought of that...also how well did your blue filter hold up to the heat? what is the end of your medigun made from? you didnt really talk about that part

thanks and great work!

A layout of the gun parts can be found here [link] If you go to a hardware store with a print of that picture, they can find everything for you!! What a world we live in.

The Lamp is a spotlight. You can find the spotlight in any Target or Walmart. Walmart carries a Black&Decker brand, while Target carries a Durabuilt brand. They're exactly the same, except one is gray and one is red.

The filter has held up well, thursfar. You need to hold down the trigger to light up the gun, and I don't have the trigger held for more then 30secs at a time; mostly because the gun is heavy. Even if the filter does melt, it will buble outward first. The light does get hot but also cools quickly.

Thanks for commenting! And Good luck on your own medigun!

PS. I'm a girl. :D I dedcided to be as accurate as possible, except I am using spiked heel boots (knee high) and I am going to put my hair up in a bun. I want to look like a strict & stiff german.

I forgot. The end of the medigun is a Drain piece, covered with a clear CD (They come on the top or bottom of a stack of CDs. You could just use a blank CD or one you don't like.) Then ontop of the clear CD is a Toiletbowl flap part, you can ask for this at the hardware store; it's rubbery. It's all painted black except for the opening in the center of the toilet flap. I used a bottle cap to cover that while painting, just cuz it fit so nicely. okay..sheesh, I hope this helps.
