And yet again, an Actor's Nausea poster had to be done and I've been lucky enough so that it was my job again to do it. The new play is "The Crucible" by Arthur Miller - first time they're not doing comedy. So I thought we need a poster that transports that as part of it's message too.
What I ended up with is the pic above, the first time I did a theatre poster showing a person, that is. The wonderful Anna Ravenstein did the model work for me, portraying one of the Salem girls for me in the Westpark in Aachen, transporting all the supercilious way of looking at the rest of the village they show once they find out what a power they wield.
The play itself is really impressively good, the group is getting better and better, even beyond already given high hopes, so I guess it'll be a joy to see.
One note: For the first time, I also did a full color version of the poster, which can also be seen here in my gallery and which is, I think, definetly worth a look.
Very stylish...I like th bw version more then the colour one...think it transports the feeling better....and I like pics that use open space. Well done.

Well, personally I prefer the colored version to the bw one. I like this one too, especially since it once again follows the established 'attern' for my theatre posters and I like that they kind of like have a CI of their own, but then again, I'm deeply in love with thunderous skies and dark clouds in general - wanna make me happy, gimme a thunderstorm
