For my mom, for Mother's Day (I just hope she doesn't decide to visit here and spoil the surprise).
My mom is from Kansas (so am I) so I went with a whole state theme on this. Kansas's state flower is the Sunflower and it's state bird is the Western Meadowlark, so this Alcarin has meadowlark's markings. I put a field of wheat just behind her and further in the distance more crop fields, which is just what you see when driving through Kansas.
Prints will be available in limited quantity after Mother's Day, original size is 8.5" x 5.5", colored pencil
