If you're going to take someone on your train of thought, at least buy them a ticket first.
Only in "later Greek Myth" was she might have been slain by Heracles - and even that is not clear:
"In a late Greek myth it was said that Heracles encountered Scylla during a journey to Sicily and slew her."
yet: "However, her death contradicts what is said by Circe after Odysseus asks if it is possible for him to fight Scylla"
