This is a painting of my character from my recently joined D&d game. When I first started gaming way back when, it was always my favorite thing. First creating and then drawing my character. I enjoyed (still do) creating characters even more than playing them. I guess, doing what I do for a living is kind of a perfect fit! Anyhoo. Introducing, Gehko Bindus the thief extraordinaire. He's a halfling. Like hobbits, I suppose. A hardcore pipe smoker, and smooth talking, fast thinking, gold purse's worst nightmare. He has an ironic penchant for the tallfolks' women, considering he's only pushing 3'3". I originally created him thinking he'd be a close combat type guy using a sickle and a dagger. But it turns out halflings and rogues are mega-pussies. So I spend a lot of time in the shadows wangchung-ing baddies with a crossbow. It wouldn't be so bad, but fighters can be such self-important pricks when it comes to the kill ratio. Experience whores. HA!

Okay. This whole painting is wonderful, but the thing that really gets me right off the bat is what he's doing with that coin. HOW ON EARTH you managed to capture that coin-fiddling movement in a single frame I will probably never understand, but it's goddamn amazing.

All drooling aside, this is a great painting. I love halflings :evileye:

Hot damn is it always a pleasure to see a post from you man. Great frakkin' work. Your painting skills are insane as per usual, but I have to admit, it's that coin that blows my mind. Great work man.

I decided it's impossible to not sound a little pretentious while commenting on other people's art, so now I just make sure I'm at least constructive too.

Yeah, I'd have to laugh at someone 3'3 coming at me with any kind of weapon. Just before I put my five foot sword in their side .....

Hey I'm the Hafling rouge guy toO!Eldrich Widowbanger at your service, and from the name I think you can guess his vice. He has a thing for climbing and swinging through trees too,I also unintentionally created a badass Gnome Barbarian.
I just can't seem to play regular characters.
Anywho spectacular painting man, love it!
