Edit: 4/23/08 - Okay... trying something different. yay or nay to dapples. The problem is it might look "too" realistic in comparison to the mane and tail. However, the mane and tail are not done yet...

Base coloring and highlights/lowlights on the body. Body is coming out too blue... Probably going to have to desaturated it... Still a long, long way to go...

Yes, she will still have the star. ^^ I gotta figure out exactly what I want to do with it yet, b/c I want it to be some sort of glowy thing.
