This is probably gonna earn me some angry backlash but... I POSITIVELY HATE VARYS 
! Since book 1, his hypocrisy has angered me as much as Littlefinger's mockery! And his claim of "serving the realm" and "wanting peace".. BULLSH*T! 
If it were true=> Why reveal Rhaegar's plans in Harrenhal to Aerys?! Why hint to Ned about Lancel's role in Robert's murder?! Why stir conflict between the Rock and Highgarden with his Gardener coin?! WHY murder effective regent Kevan?!
Varys has personal sympathies (Young Griff apparently), like all other players of the game. He hates Littlefinger, yet they're actually quite alike; the main difference is that Baelish is a bit more upfront about how evil he truly is.
If he ever returns from Essos, I hope Tyrion finally rids Westeros of that treacherous eunuch! ✊
