First crocuses this year. I was so happy to see them poking their golden heads from those wood chips covering the future flowerbed on the first day we had some sun out. For now there are only three small clumps of yellow ones but I hope the purple, white and striped will shortly follow.
As I took my camera out of the bag for the first time since January (it's more like first time since November because I took only few shots of snowflakes then), I would like to say that's IT that forgot how to take pictures. But I fear nobody would believe me so I guess the other choice is yours truly.
nice shot - I love spring - down here all the blossom is out and many trees are turning green fast - roses are flowering like crazy and even have some coneflowers out plus cape cod honeysuckle. Hollyhocks ready to bloom .....atchooooooo
