Fanart: FullMetal Alchemist

If you looked in my sketchbook right now, it would be easy to tell what my latest obsession is: FullMetal Alchemist. I've been doodling Ed alot, and finally decided to try making a proper piece of fanart to display here. And look, there's thos sakura petals again! ^_^;;

I'm quite proud of this. It took me two hours last night to paint (Al -- armor boy -- took 45 minutes himself!) and I was up quite late, but I'm very happy with the result. I used a reference picture on the sketch [which yo can see here,] which only took 15 minutes with some fixing up later. As for the paint job, it's one of my best so far. At first I made Ed's coat too dark, and kept trying to fix it by adding lighter red tones after it dried, which made it kind of runny. Also, Al's armor was hell! I don't think I did a very good job with it, but it was really hard to fix. Roy's there in the background, and I have no real irks with him, except I hate and love drawing his hair.
