Here is the collection of Strips 9-12 of the Rapunzel comic strips I am currently working on for The Connector student newspaper at SCAD-Atlanta presenting my dark reinterpretation of the Rapunzel tale.

In these collection, the farmer returns home after his harrowing encounter with the witch. However, the secret to their survival lies in sacrifice. Will the witch be kind or cruel?

I love the treatment of the characters' hair. the fusion of organic twirls and blocky inking is marvellous. i love everything about this strip, and u are so definitely getting better at the woodcut style. the dialogue bubbles r an improvement too. they blend in with the illustrations a lot better

thanks! I finally got tired of using the elliptical tool for the word balloon, as I hated the stiff look, so I've started coloring them manually, which gives them that slightly imperfect handmade feel.
