It's annoying to receive dozens of comments asking about something you have already said in the description.
And since it takes time to write them, it's double the annoyance to spend time answering comments repeating the same thing over and over again.

I totally agree. I've never had somebody ask something that I explained, but that's just cuz I'm not popular. Which, seeing all the crap popular people deal with, I'm gald I'm not. :3

Besides, the descriptions can be endlessly entertaining!

I agree, it annoys me when people just comment without reading. Recently I submitted a colored lineart - the lineart not being done by me - and someone accused me of being a thief, and then I had to explain to them because they didn't look at the description!

A friend of mine asked me to submit one stamp made by her, and I clearly stated that it was made by her and they should fav her (I gave the link).
