I've seen about five million "It's not about the pageviews" stamps floating around. And I agree with them, but what I'm seeing is that most of the people using them have enormous egos and take it more like "I don't get why my amazing art isn't frontpage". I'm saying MOST
Almost all art on FP, you can see how it got there. Even the minimalist comics are up there because, simply, they're freaking hilarious. Everyone's going all bitchy on fanart nowadays too. I think you'd know how I feel about that. XD
And I don't mind being at a lowly 4k views, in fact, I love it. I came on here cos I'm like a dog, I just wanna make people happy.
I am not a popular artist because my art needs a LOT of improvement. Also, as it stands now, when the PW fandom dies... I do. I don't really like that and am trying to branch out a little, but I don't think I'll stop any time soon.
The fact that I've made a few people over seas laugh is... Amazing. That's all I need. I'm fine with not being a frontpager.
