This is Cameron. We are celebrating his first birthday this week. He is my grandson, and as such is the most beautiful baby boy in the world!

This is my first real person sketch/portrait. The shading is rough, I know. I'm slowly learning. . . but still, isn't he handsome!

Constructive criticism welcome. Help me learn.

I just used an HB pencil and lots of erasing. It was too light to scan properly, so I tried to darken it in photoshop. I have never been there before either. Hence the purple colour.

Hey that isn't too bad for a first portrait! :clap:
The shading might be rough, but you've shaded just from the right places which makes it look 3D.
His nose is especially lovely! Good job and keep that up! :D
