I've just become aware of this dreadful disease through `Sophquest who is running a competition to raise awareness of Lupus. Go on over to her site, there are some fabulous prizes and you'll be helping to raise money for a very good cause too as Sophie will be donating 25 cents for every entry.

I'm so glad you like my stamp - I didn't know anything about lupus until `Sophquest and *Solitairemiles announced their contest for Season of the Wolf - it seems to be such an awful disease and I'm sorry to learn of yet another person that has it. I'm more than happy to promote awareness - more people should definitely know about it.

Mine has been fairly under control with medication for a good bit now. I still have my days, but the lupus seems to be staying at bay, praise God! I also have fibromyalgia that I have to deal with, but I manage. I was so pleased to see the contest and others working to spread the word. I'm so happy to have the stamps for my journal!! Take care!! :hug:
