I did, totally a week AFTER I did up the Char-sprite on my own using crappy PS tutorials off the internet. It'll save you a lot of time

I decided I HAD to be different from everyone else- so I went with (the first one I've seen) an animated gif. Nothing fancy, but fun I hope!
