I've just finished reading these two books and whilst they borrow heavily from LOTR and Dragonriders of Pern, with a bit of Harry Potter thrown in, I still enjoyed them so I made myself a stamp - if anyone else wants to use it, please feel free.

Good - I'm glad someone else likes them. Have you read Anne McCaffrey's Dragonriders of Pern series - if you like Eragon, you'll love them too.

Now that's what I call a fan! I've only read the Pern series - must get round to all her other stuff - if only I could drag myself away from the computer more often :)

I have several authors I'm like that with.. I just like the style of writing.. I can always open a book by them, and I am off to another world instantly.. I've been reading SiFi and Fantasy since I was very small..

Hooray - it isn't just me then - I know quite a few people who think that at my age it should be Barbara Cartland and Mills & Boon - yuk!

Ewwwwww.. Nasty.. How boring.. I have a terrible time finding anything to read in this small town.. We don't have a real boookstore and the library carries only remance and christian books.. Nothing with any meat in it.. I love high adventure.. I want to completley dissapear from this world.. I hate buying over teh internet.. I want to touch the book fan through it read what's on the cover and inside the first few pages.. It's hard to make people understand..

Well I understand completely! There's no other way to buy a book. Hopefully we'll sell the house soon but the worst thing will be seeing the amount of books that we've got between us that will have to be packed!
