In order to improve your skills you must surpass yourself. Constant training and patience is required to get a piece you can be truly satisfied with. And that is what I have done now... after personal meanigs.
This is a black dragon. Not difficult to spot that. The total ammount of hours spent on this is 12. So its been a while. There is not much of details to spot other than on the dragon and on the ground. A dead horse and a knight that is terrified are the funny little details here. (By funny I dont mean its fun to kill horses, but you get the point no?)
Partially inspired by D&D Dragons (Red & Black & Pose) drawn by Ron Spencer. Spesifically scale model used in monster manual.

Permissioned to Estevo Machando for the web magazine Dragons Tale:

Edit:
Updated it in a more clean version. Still thinking of taking it out of the frame and finish various elements of it. No bigge... Sorry for the inconvidience (sp?)

$7 dollars as is, $20 matte, and $30 matte and frame. That is about the standard prices I have seen though.

Wow... o_O This is really amazing, especially for pencil drawing.. Very, very nice job!

I would say, if it were close to the size it is when you look at it in full view, that it should be about $20-30. I'm not sure about the conversions, but yeah, that's what I think it should be...

*smiles and gives you a thumbs up*

Neato, great dragon...I like the way the scales and wings are drawn. The horse and knight are a nice touch too. I agree with the other comments about the pricing, $20-30 seems right...I'd pay even more if it had more of a background though

great work on the detail, i can see you put alot of effort into this.

and it would seem that you helped me in answering something for me. In order to become better at my work, i must first surpass myself. :D Thank you for the info

I just love the detail. Dragons are the greatest creatures of all times, but it takes a hell of a long time to do the scales for me. And thank you for the little info on surpassing ones self.

For pricing on this? Priceless, no amount of money is worth this wonderful picture.
