It's Black on Black, very difficult the see what is going on. I like the idea though, maybe if she had a white aura around her it would work better?

I love it! The white of her flesh emerging, weapon first and glowing eyes second, from the deep shadows. Awesome! =D :thumbsup:

You are too kind.
One element of Vectoring one's creations is that the program (not the person) renders the blacks as *total* black...and white...or grey....as *total...you get the point.
Its fun playing with style...
the big downside of this vis a vis what you do...is the details...
The yes/no of black and white tends to scrub out the subtle details that are characteristic of hand drawn greyscale.
Unless one is Frank Miller of course.

Umm...I hesitate to comment further...
I'd love to be able to show someone how I did this...once you know the details....that knowledge totally strips the mystery from the pic.

Yep...you are right...
This little series of illustrations were all done using one of my fave characters and a new plugin for Carrara 5.
I fucked with them...used some photoshop...did all kinds of stuff with them....worked with things you pointed out...lack of detail...etc...
Hey...it's a bunch of experiments....and your idea of a white aura is exactly the kind of input I was hoping to generate...
