This is very true. Thankyou for addressing this sister. In fact, Im sure alot of artists of all kinds have considered this thought before. Lord knows I cant stand crit if it is JUST an opinion. You know, one of those, "Somethings missing with this picture." type comments. You would hope they would respond with something a little more helpful, but NO. Apparently not. Though I would also like to thank those artists who wish to improve and help other improve by true 'tough love' comments. I love getting those. They hurt, but they do say alot. And whats harder, is if you art crituqued by an artist who you believe is infeior to you. Not true. Every artist/person should have a say in the art they veiw around them. They have the choice to say 'The colors look wierd' or 'her face looks off'. When this happens it is the artists responsibility to take the mature action and either ignore the comment or respond with a pleasant thankyou. It has been to my best of knowlege that even the most inexpirienced will help you improve, becuase people have taste, no matter how uncolored cordinated they may be. x3. I think to be a true artist, you must have an affinity with the inspiration for your art, and with the people who veiw it. And with that comes natural Maturity (in one way at least).
