This is my entry for 's contest #10. The Woman with the knife is a former priestess of Lolth. She was abandoned by her goddess and left for dead by her sisters. She found her way through the wilds of the underdark to the lair of an ancient red wyrm. She prostrated herself before the dragon. To her surprise the beast gave her a proposal instead of devouring her on the spot. She would worship him and perform sacrafical rituals that would both honor him and sustain him in his advanced age. In return he would grant her a gift greater than any she ever would have recieved from Lolth, he would make her a half dragon. Each sacrifice would bring her closer and closer to a complete transformation and with it all the inate magical and physical power of dragon kind. So she set out to seek victims and when by chanse she was able to sacrifice a low level priestess of Lolth, both she and benefator recieved blessings and power from Taimat the evil dragon god. Upon the relization of this she has now made it her holy mission, and not a little personal revenge, to rip the still beating hearts out of the clergy of Lolth, defiling their temples and altars in the process. Her she is in the process of just one of those rituals.
