For :iconlolth-scourge: In the name of Religion contest.

Charged with a mission to free the chosen ones from Lolth's arachnid grasp, this elf and drow warrior come before Eilistraee's High Priestess to seek the goddess' blessing.

As the goddess looks on, her priestess summons forth the Scourge of Eilistraee (a fire of protection) and in a soft voice, the priestess murmurs "Xal Eilistraee tlu xuil dos" (May Eilistraee be with you)

I would've preferred the priestess to be with me instead of Eilistraee but... erm... err... :paranoid:...

Beautiful scene and composition - i like the eye overlay in the background and the slight glow all over the scenery which makes it appear more "holy" (or should it be unholy...? :confused:) - the male drow hand does not seem to be touching the ground... but it might be just the render engine miscalculating shadows (sometimes it happens) - a hint of painted shadow under it should make it look firmly planted on the floor as one should be in front of a drow priestess... ;) - lovely scene all over anyway - very well built! :nod:
