Artist's Comments

To get this image I had to drive around the entire lake to get to the other side. Sunrise was at 4:30 am, so I had to be on location well before that...getting up at 4am was a complete PITA, but the rewards for my efforts were really worth the effort!

This image is really worth a full view

Lee 0.9 and 0.6 ND grads plus a Polariser

well done! it's a nice shot at the right time . by the way, as a DSLR Canon user, do you prefer Tamron lenses or Sigma for telephoto?

Great shot!
Thats what we'll be doing later this month (getting up at the crack of dawn and going down to Derwent Water!). This is a lovely photograph though. I hope I get some this good. :)

A photograph isn't an end to itself, but a means to understand the world that's around us.
