I made a mistake
and said yes to this guy
looking back on it now
it was a foolish comply

I can't live it down
no matter what I do
cause in his eyes
I'm faithfully untrue

It makes me sick
how I'm always to blame
I'm so freaken tired
of his childish game

If the feelings weren't there
what the hell am I to do?
you'd think me being distant
would have tipped him a clue

But we're back to where I started
I'm always to blame
this is so pathetic
I hate this game.

This is a poem I wrote last night for my ex, who lately seems to be working my last nerve. It'd be nice if he could just understand some things instead of always being a brat about them.

A wonderful poem, even though the subject must've been painful...or frustrating at least. You're very lucky that at the very least, you are able to express yourself so beautifully with words! ^_^ I don't have this kind of talent and would only end up looking like a fool if I tried. T_T

actually the only time I can really express myself in poetry is when I'm upset over something... which makes all of my poetry look very emo XD but it releases my anger a bit :3

It's a healthy and productive way to release stress! XD Poetry is hard to write if you're "not in the mood". Same really with art. I can't draw anything unless I'm feeling really emotional at the moment. XD So I always try to keep a pencil and paper nearby so I can capture it whenever an image pops into my head. *_*

That is true, poetry or song can display your frustration, or love whatever you feel- I write my feelings in words and feel better. You write good in poetry, ah I knew that anyways-- I am still waiting for your story- kirnia.
