I sit here, alone, wondering what you are doing at this exact moment in time
Are we sharing a thought? A memory? A dream?
Do we cross mind paths at all... or are you flying...far far away?
I dont feel like smiling today.
Its not that I'm not thankful for the sun, the stars, the earth still spinning, my heart still beating.....
Just that you're not a part of it right now.
You, and your perfect smile.
You, and your perfect eyes.
You, and that voice that carries me a million miles to where I want to be.
I want to sing for you. But you wont hear me...
So my notes and melody combust with the oxygen in the air...
Right in front of me... my greatest fear, the death of music.
Visible to only me....
I wish you could hear me.
I miss you.
I think, if only one beat of my heart out of a thousand is in time with one of yours then I'd know we are still together.
An infinity loop that never starts, never ends and never stops.
So ... a smile breaks.
Only for an instant.
Like a lightning strike that splits the dark velvet night.
Burning out so fast. But beautiful in its short lifespan.
