Size: A4
Time: 3 1/2 hours aprox.
Materials: Watercolour paper, automatic paper, eraser, cottonbuds, refrence!

This is the best picture I've ever drawn. I mean it!
My refrence was [link] which was taken by my mum. I changed a number of little things, which you'll notice, but its pretty much the same! :)
Strangly, but true, I used cotton buds to do most of the shading! They're really useful because they also hold the graphite so you can use them to do light shading aswell. I might not be the first person to try it, but I certainly wont be the last! :D

Thats amazing! I wish i could draw horses like that :D You've put so much detail into it, you can even see the hair around the tips of the ears and the creases around the mouth where the bit is. I think the phrase "best picture i've ever drawn" is a justified one!
