well what do you know the space aliens finally arrived just as everyone knew they would, at just after lunchtime.
their timing was a little skewed - they had hoped to be here just before dinner - and consequently they completely misread the late autumn ocean.
and were promptly swept out to sea on the world's smallest ever tidal wave.
