Description

It's hard to say where I was going with this piece, but it was based on the idea when we pretty ourselves up and try to present ourselves to either our audience, or interviewer, or even our date as best as we can but still we try to not expose too much of ourselves. I'm not saying it's a bad thing, it's quite fun to dress up for the occasion in my opinion, but I just wanted to draw something revolving around that idea. I might create a bigger piece later cuz this one's in my iddy biddy sketchbook XD. I know there is a nipple, but it's not very noticeable and I really don't think it's worth a mature filter, if someone calls me out on it then I will do it.
 I seem to really enjoy drawing monarch butterflies

I love this piece very much! Especially the way you put the colours together and make it look warm and pleasing to the eye and interesting at the same time. And also a big thumbs up for using purple for the shadows, it really brings out the whole meaning of the picture.

My favourite for this work would be the expression in her eyes, it is as if it says it all.

And here comes the suggestions part;
The flowers seem a little bit to "opened", as if its gonna fall down soon, and as for the leaves, it seems a little bit flat (2-D) , Instead of drawing the leaves straight down, you should give it more curve and different perspectives.
If your going for realism, I suggest that you should study more about the anatomy the face, from what I see, the shape of the head seems a little bit off, flat, even. And as for the shape of her face, it seems a little bit too slanted. Here's a little tip (you should try it yourself) ; draw a horizontal line between her eyes, and draw a perpendicular line (make sure it goes through her nose) and down to her chin, that should be around where the chin should actually be to make it look less stiff and more natural.

But overall this a really great piece! I really love it a lot, great job!

((I hope you could understand what I'm talking about (lol) Feel free to ask me if you have any questions~
