Simple, but I think it gets the point across.

I'm not a frequent stamp maker; hell, this is my first one. But I felt that this point needed to be made. (If you have any pointers about the layout or anything, I'd be glad to hear them.)

I am not a slave to canon. I am a slasher/shipper/younameit. I don't believe Tonks and Lupin should even be in the same dimension. Kairi and Sora have less depth than a puddle in Arizona. Will only loved Elizabeth because she was frigging sexy.

That isn't to say I hate all canon, I'm simply not tied down by it. I think that most canon pairings are created simply to increase the span of an audience, as most people (mainly women) enjoy romance in their fandoms. I know I certainly do, but hetero pairings aren't something that really appeal to me in fiction.

Personally, I'd love it if someone slashed my characters together, it would be so entertaining for me. _{(do it)} But that might just be me 8D

So...stop hating. I bet you like something equally weird, don't focus your hatred on one fandom. There's plenty of weird fetishes to go around.
