Queen Gorgo - one of the few women to make it into Greek History. The wife of King Leonidas of Sparta, she was known for her wit and her sharp words.

This Queen Gorgo was (very loosely) based on Lena Headey's portrayal of Queen Gorgo in the movie "300" based on Frank Miller's comics. Unfortunately, it doesn't look much like Lena Headey but I feel it is a fair enough doodle of Queen Gorgo I really can't get her eyes right though...grr..

I'm really sad there isn't more fanart of her since I thought Lena Headey did quite well as Queen Gorgo. Meh.
