Description

Exoplanets (I didn't copy the information word for word, most of it is in my own words)
:bulletblue: MOA-2007-BLG-192-Lb (Bottom Right) - This planet may not have the best name, but that doesn't mean it's not fascinating, it's mass is three times greater than Earth's and makes it the smallest Exoplanet discovered so far (but it's still classed as a super-Earth). The planet orbits a much smaller sun compared to our sun, it can't even sustain fusion reactions, so it's believed the planet is an icy gassy kind of planet.
:bulletblue: Kepler 16b (Top Left) - This planet is the first one to have been discovered to orbit two stars instead of one, the Kepler 16 system is binary because of the two stars, the scientists can on regular dips in light emitted from the system every time the two stars eclipsed each other. However, they noticed another dip in brightness not caused by the two stars so there had to be something else, and it turned out to be Kepler 16-b.
:bulletblue: Epsilon Eridani b (Bottom Left) - This planet is just 10 light-years away from Earth, however it's an unlikely candidate for hosting life, the planet is a gas giant like Jupiter and Saturn and it has an orbit that takes it close to it's parent star and then far away from it's parent star. If the planet did have moons, they wouldn't be able to handle the extreme changes in temperature from the eccentric orbit of the planet, but some scientist say it has a normal orbit and would make the system like our own Solar System.
:bulletblue: 51 Pegasi b (Top Right) - Unofficially dubbed Bellerophon, this planet is somewhere you wouldn't want to go, it is only 4 million miles from it's parent star and is known as a Hot Jupiter. The planet is tidally locked, so it would be permanent daytime on one side and permanent night time on the other side, temperatures can reach up to 1000 degrees Celsius and because of the unstable temperature, winds howl at thousands of miles per hour and even rains liquid iron! And what's more amazing is that it orbits it's sun in just 4 days!

I've always liked anything to do with the planets and the solar system. Have to say this is really excellent and the colours are beautiful too.
