Until yesterday, the bulbs/balls/tubers always sort of happened to me (luckily!). If I saw an area where there was bulb-potential, I usually could pester them into existence. But to go and say: now I'm going to get them and I know exactly how to do that: no way. And then yesterday some people asked me how to get them or told me they were finding bulbs difficult to find. And I sat down and within 10 minutes I had bulbs... Goes to show that sometimes a wee bit of determination to learn something can do wonders :} This is what I did, and I am quite sure it will work for most if not all the 'Boxes' and most if not all 'Pows':

Start MB3D new and empty.
As formula 1 take Amazing Box (3 iterations, Scale 1.2, Min R 0, Fold 1.2)
As formula 2 take Integer Power (1 iteration, Power 2, Z -10)
Open your navigationwindow and enable Julia mode and set all values in it to 0.
Behold, a bulb ;}

Still this one took me 10 hours or so to go from there to this render :}
