I've wanted to do this tribute for quite some time now but haven't for 2 reasons...... the first being that it was just to hard emotionally & the second being that I haven't drawn a human since high school. That aside I'm pretty pleased with how it came out. Steve Irwin has been a hero of mine since the inception of the "Croc Hunter" show. I probably know all the episodes by heart! His passing is an immense loss for the animal kingdom.
To Quote his father: "Please don't grieve for Steve, he's at peace now, but I'd like you to grieve for the animals, for the animals have lost the best friend they ever had"
Gorgeous! I drew a picture of him, too, on the day he died. It's in my gallery, I've changed some of it, and the scanner wasn't working, so I had to use a webcam, which sucks. But yeah, you did great! I still keep thinking he's alive...He's just one of those people that you can't see them as dead, you know? Whenever you think of him, he's jumping around with some animal, you can't ever see him just lying still...He will be missed. He is missed. I know I miss him...
