Named after the girl I made it for (isn't she lucky?) This was my second beaded bra - and began as a match for the belt my model's wearing (you can see it better in some of my other shots - here, for instance), but it mutated into something more original. Or I just forgot I was working to match the belt. It's probably my favourite bra so far - and has a lovely crossover back, which is extra supportive for the exuberant bellydancer.

There is certainly an air of passion that surrounds `Nico1 with regard to his love for art. I also think that whilst the costumes can look magnificent, someone of my stature (5"1 and chubby) looks utterly ridiculous in the ornate, chunky-beaded costumes favoured by tribal dancers - kind of like a stunted christmas tree gone psycho. Hence why I favour beads.
That said, I'd really love to try my hand at some coined gawazee or beledi-style costumes at some point in the future.
