this is a battle worn barbarian or norse from scandanavia or greenland, I did't want to add the helmet which would cover most of his face. I wanted his plain expression to be seen, who knows what hes thinking or what he went through

He looks battle-worn and maybe even defeated, which is a nice change from the fierce expression one would expect to see. Great detail in his clothes and face! :D

You can draw futuristic and medieval character with equal skills. I really like this one. The design and outfit is awesome. I would have work just a bit on the bg mountaing though...just to add more emotion to the scene. Great use of dark tones on the face and on the body, really a nice contrast.
