Okay, man. So, either Videl is super-duper short or Gohan is uber-duber tall 
The only parts I edited were the additions to the art! O_o I did NOT draw Gohan, Videl or Goten!! This is from the actual cover page from the DB manga, Chapter 234: Videl Learns to Fly.
Videl and Gohan's heights are so mysterious! O.o ~Avalonbluemoon and I had a long discussion about this at her deviation in the club --> [link] (you can read it in the comments if you want XD)
I always wanted to do something like this, but never got around to it till I got a question from ~kittenthecat about Videl's height from page 220. "Is Videl really that short?" Yes! Yes, she is!! XDD (In fact, on 220, I think I made her taller than she's supposed to be!) O.o
In the manga, she's always been this short. In the anime, (and especially in GT >.< ) they like to change things around. WTF?! How do you get a sudden 6-inch growth spurt in your 30's (when you're a woman, on top of that)?!!
The only time it changes in the manga is when it would hinder Toriyama's composition (like, half of her head would be off of the panel or something). But when things like that-- in addition to weird angles-- aren't present/ aren't a problem, she is definitely this size, in relation to Gohan. There were other images proving this also (in the manga), but I just didn't scan them all.
Besides, this one was the most obvious (that Toriyama wanted it this way) and the most exact time when either are not being foreshortened.
Videl is not up to Gohan's shoulder for cryin' out loud! At the most, it's his lower-to-middle-chest area.
Why do I care about this so much?! Do you have to ask?!! XDD (If you have to ask, just look at my avatar! XD)
And, even IF I changed the 'scale' on how large 1 ft. would be, Videl would still be like 4-foot-something, and Gohan 6-ft-something...! o_O;; Either way, (to quote Ava) "Videl is really really REALLY short. or Gohan is just really REALLY tall. XD tha' world shall never know..."
Yes, unfortunately... Which is why I'm asking Mr. Toriyama, hahaha. XD (As if he'll ever read this. XDD)
Were you hoping for a real I.D.? MY bad. But, I love Gh/Vi, so they're "a part" of me, too! ;D

I don't trust the anime. XD They're way too inconsistent. XD
Besides, girls usually stop physical growth (of tallness, at least) in their teens anyway, and according to the DBZ timeline, she was like 17-18 at this time. I mean... it's really rare for any girl to grow *that* much when they're already that old... At least bone structure/growth...XD Okai, I'm getting way too into this...XDD
