Halloween

"I don't want to wear it."
Ron sat sulkily on his bed.
"Come on, Ronnikins!" crowed George from behind his werewolf-mask.
"None of the other houses are celebrating Halloween. Why are we?"
"Because Gryffindors have more fun," said George. "You said you thought it sounded great when Charlie told us about Muggle Halloween last year when he came back from catching that dragon that had made Fort Knox its home."
"Every Gryffindor is dressing up," added Fred, adjusting the bolt through his head. "No one will laugh at you."
Ron eyed the pumpkin costume in distaste.
"Everyone else has stylish costumes of vampires or fun ones of zombies," he said, glaring at Harry who tried to hide his toothy grin behind the large collar of his cloak, and Seamus who had given up grinning, because one of his eyes would pop out whenever he did.
"And all the girls are just dressing smartly and saying that they're dressed up as witches."
Ron punched the orange pumpkin. Hermione fingered the brim of her black, pointy hat nervously, while Ginny tied an orange bow around hers.
"Come on, Ron," she said, leaving the room. "Get into your costume, so we can all go trick or treating. A Butterbeer for anyone who dares to knock on Snape's door."
