Doughnut Beads

Three doughnut shaped polymer clay beads.

These beads are about 2cm (¾") across. The hole for threading the bead goes right through the doughnut, missing the doughnut hole - this not only means that the thred is not seen through the whole in the doughnut, but also that it is weighted so it will always fall in the right way, rather than showing the rather plainer back of the doughnut. The end of the bead sticking out of the body of the dougnut is to stop the clay being eroded by the wire when it is threaded - I have noticed that polymer wears away into a groove when it is threaded with something like tiger tail, so I insert these little beads into the exit pints of the clay to stop anything like that happening, and it really works very well.

Made from lightweight polymer clay with a semi-transparent polymer clay used for the icing and tiny little pink beads used for the hundreds and thousands...
