Quick color sketch that turned out to be anything but quick. Done as a prize for 
for winning 
's avatar contest. Printed linework and prismacolor markers on cardstock. I really struggled with this drawing and am slightly embarrassed to say that I started over on the coloring eight times. I made the eyes a bit too avian and not feline enough, but it will have to do. I'm not starting over again! 
This is the most complex character I've ever drawn but she's unique, beautiful, and turned out pretty cute.

I love how her wings turned out, the texture to them. The highlights all over are lovely, and the vivid orange of her eyes against the blue-grey is just lovely.
