Literature Text

underneath the yellow glow
of planted lamps, a kicking stone,

on down a road. an old tune
painted on the ground.

i miss you,
like the red button

i found the other day.
a luminescent feather

still in flight. a sherbet dusk.
incog your face churns - me waiting
i guess, its that longing feeling that i think most of us have woken up to at some point. don't get me wrong im grateful, but I want something else.

I like the subtle clues that lead you to imagery rather than a direct order into imagery. If you know what i'm getting at.

Good poem, to the point, well formed with enough in-depth metaphors to provoke thought.
