In your video, you compared a Greyburg and Black Dragon Spear vs Two Plesioth Water Swords. Now first off, you used the argument that Kut Ku has no Dragon weakness?  Uhhhh, I am sorry sir, but you are sadly mistaken.  Kut Ku takes 20% more Dragon damage at the neck.  Guess what, your friend with the BDS happened to be attacking the Kut Ku at the neck, meaning he was doing 20% extra damage with it there.  This is how damage your friend was doing to the Kut Ku would be calculated:

Total Combo: 76%
Weapon Multiplier: 2.3
Black Dragon Spear: 552
KK Dragon Neck Weakness: 20%
KK Cut Neck Weakness: 50%
Online KK Defence: 95%
552*0.76/2.3=182.4*1.7=310.08*.95=294.58

Now to explain the different values, each attack in the game has a different percent value it takes out of the attack power of the weapon to determine damage.  By total combo, I took the percents of the three attacks in the lances combo and added them together into one percent.  Each weapon type in the game has a multiplier that the base damage formula is divided by, the lance's value being 2.3.  The Kut Ku has a neck weakness of 20% for dragon damage as per KK Dragon Neck Weakness, and it has a Cut Weakness of 50% at the neck.(Cut is one of the three HIDDEN elemental types in the game.  Lance and GS are both cut types, but this value will have a valid point later in this argument).  The Online Kut Ku has a 95% Defence modifier, meaning it takes 95% of the total damage given.

Now we will take a look at the Plesioth Water Sword.  Almost ALL your attacks with the Water Sword were at the Foot or Wing, where Kut Ku has the SMALLEST Water weakness.  Yet again, your knowledge of the game mechanics seems to escape you?  Let us analyze the Water Sword, shall we?

Total Combo: 130%
Weapon Multiplier: 4.8
Plesioth Water Sword: 768
KK Water Foot Weakness: 10%
KK Cut Foot Weakness: 25%
Online KK Defence: 95%
768*1.3/4.8=208*1.35=380.8*.95=266.76

Since we used a three hit combo with the lance, we are using a three hit combo here, The three hit combo I am using is Forward Slash, Horizontal Slash and Upswing.  Might I mention in this argument as well that you guys neglected upswing in your comparison?  Horizontal Slash does 10% LESS damage than an Upswing.  Since I only used your base combo though which does 10% less damage than your Upstab combo, I only included one Upswing in the GS combo.  The Kut Ku's Water Weakness at the foot is 10% which I had shown above.  Now this is where the cut variable comes in.  Now you MH geniuses neglected the fact that the foot only has a 25% Cut Weakness!  The Water Sword ends up totaling only 266.76 total damage to online Kut Ku.  If you guys did the math, you would have seen that the weapons you used were NOT a fair comparison.

Since you will most likely try to protect your argument by mentioning the Greyburg, shall we visit this right here?  Here is the calculation for the Greyburg:

Total Combo: 76%
Weapon Multiplier: 2.3
Greyburg: 482
KK Cut Wing Weakness: 75%
Online KK Defence: 95%
482*.76/2.3=159.27*1.75=278.72*.95=264.8

Now first off, allow me to yet again explain the figures.  I had noticed that you were attacking mostly the wing with your Greyburg.  You had neglected here(yet again might I add) the Cut element.  The elemental damage you are inflicting here is 40% HIGHER than the elemental damage you were inflicting with the Plesioth Water Swords!  Would you also look at that?  The Plesioth Water Sword is still inflicting more damage than your precious lance.  If you were hitting the same area with both weapons, then the Plesioth Water Sword would have taken care of Kut Ku much faster than it had with your lance.

Now with your argument taken care of, allow me to set up a mathematical experiment with a more fair setup?  Now, allow us to take the two strongest weapons from both Lances and GS, shall we? This will be a one on one comparison, unlike your illogical and inefficient 2 on 2 comparison.  The Black Dragon Spear is considered the strongest Lance, and the Red Dragonsword the strongest GS.  They will both be attacking the neck of a Kut Ku over and over again to prevent the inaccuracy that you created when you neglected the fact that different body parts take damage differently.  For the BDS, we will be using the same base combo we had used above.  For the Red Dragonsword, we will be using the Forward Slash, Horizontal Slash, Upswing combo we had used above.  We will be using an online base Kut Ku for this experiment.  Online base Kut Ku has 2000 HP and a Defence modifier of 95%.(This is the Kut Ku we were using in the above arguments)  Now let us do the calculations, shall we?

This is for the Black Dragon Spear.  It is the same calculation we made at the beginning, being reposted here for your convenience:

Total Combo: 76%
Weapon Multiplier: 2.3
Black Dragon Spear: 552
KK Dragon Neck Weakness: 20%
KK Cut Neck Weakness: 50%
Online KK Defence: 95%
552*0.76/2.3=182.4*1.7=310.08*.95=294.58

Now for the Red Dragonsword:

Total Combo: 130%
Weapon Multiplier: 4.8
Red Dragonsword: 960
KK Dragon Neck Weakness: 20%
KK Cut Neck Weakness: 50%
Online KK Defence: 95%
960*1.3/4.8=260*1.7=442*.95=419.9

The Red Dragonsword is doing more than 100 damage more than the Black Dragon Spear! The Black Dragon Spear would require 7 combos to kill Kut Ku whilst the Red Dragonsword would only require 5 combos.  This is mathematical proof that the GS is better than the Lance.

All you kept doing in your comments was telling people that they knew nothing about elements or nothing about the game, etc.  I think you need to learn everything about the game before you go around making fun of other people for not knowing anything about it.  You obviously still have much more to learn.

As for actual battle mechanics, the reason you managed to defeat Kut Ku faster with your lance was because you abused the locking glitch which allowed you to keep Kut Ku in place to defeat him quicker.  This glitch was removed in all MH games after MH.  If your experiment was conducted in MHP, MHG or MH2, the time results would end up much differently.  I may further my argument with this part later by creating a video of an MH2 version of the same experiment.
