For my Photography II class we were given our Assignment 7, which entailed us going out and taking pictures of whatever we wanted, but we had to bring them into Photoshop and convert them into a high contrast black and white photo.

It looks as though the rose would be acting as the bow for the violin here. (And the petals fell off of course.) I love that idea. :nod:

Thanks! That's a neat view about the photo. I wish I could say that was why I put the rose there, but I'll be honest about it, I just put it there because it was compositionally pleasing and brought out the romantic/classical feeling I was going for in all these photos.
