Shrine of Uther Lightbringer

Hello peeps.

It's been awhile since i posted.
And i've been putting this one aside for awhile, due to lack of time to paint it.
I've been meaning to do an Uther Lightbringer piece for big while.
It ocurred to me while i was walking with a WoW character from a friend of mine, through the eastern plaguelands and i had never seen Uther's Tomb.
Hehehe... And since i'm such a big Warcraft geek (Really. i've read 4 books, played all the games and i'm a Wowwiki worm. I'm so geeky about wow. that when i actually play the game i get so easily distracted walking around that i forget that i was questing, grinding and things like that. So..it takes me a whole lot of time to level if i don't have a friend pushing me through. hahahaha) i was really blown away. I love this kind of detail..Like Mannoroth's lance carved into a wall in ashenvale, or it's skull in Orgrimmar.
You can find all types of little details related to lore and things like that. Not to mention the zillion easter eggs that can be found while taking a hike through azeroth.

Anyway. I had reference for this one. I use a little program called WoW model viewer to see items so i can draw them right and everything. Also, to play around with it while i'm bored. Anyway, the program helped me set a perspective and everthing.

I wanted to keep focused on the statue itself instead of the background (WOW, is anyonw surprised ? haha not me)
