July 8, 1990...

On this day, 16 years ago, I dove off Langdale Dam in Valley, AL into the Chattahoochee River and broke my neck at C3/C4 level leaving me paralyzed from the shoulders down. This happened around 2:30p.m. EST time. For those of you who have become my friend since that day, I thank you for seeing me for me and saying "I want/need/would like to have" him as my friend. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to have so many angels I call "friend"!!

Yes, I am paralyzed from the neck down. I can pick my right forearm up and move it side to side..but that's it from the shoulders down. No hand or finger movement at all.

Thanks for the comment about the stamp. I'm very happy you can't use it!!
