Taken from my window on Friday, June 23 at 1:30 am.
The storm was amazing. I couldn't sleep anyway, the bright flashes kept me up. The blinds were open, at my wife's request, because thunderstorms help her sleep. I got the camera out and started snapping pictures. Over a hundred and fifty shutter clicks later, I had maybe a dozen good captures.
The violent maelstrom took out power in some areas. In my rooftop apartment the noise was rattling the window panes. It was an awesome display.
omg that'a awesome! I was thinking when I saw the thumb, that nah, it has to be like a photoshop thing or something. but this is amazing! the purple is delicious. and wtf? thunderstorms help your wife sleep?

These facts are important not only when you are looking for a job, but in any situation when you wish to showcase your work. I decided to share a few guidelines that might help you give the best of yourself and help you be a better profesional.
