...no matter how bad we sometimes want to


this one took me longer than i thought it would. especially designing the minute hand. it incorporates the word Aevum which is Latin for Time.
the whole composition is done from scratch, except the shape of the clock surface which is based on a ref. photo.

- graphite on paper
- 14" x 11"
- about 25 hours
- wips on my website

OMFG. THis is freaking so good!!! I love hoe you made the hand slightly invisible. How did you do it?? This is so amazing! I love how the clock has cracks in it. Wonderful job! I wish I was as good as you with a pencil...

Oh my this is superb and at the moment it rings all the bells for me. My dog, Abb, died last week of cancer only 4 years old and if I could I would do this. Thank you! Technically it's wonderful i love the marble effect of the clock face and the fact that the hand has no real substance so it can't grasp the minute hand to move it. Wow!
