I've been working on a lot of bigger (probably never going to be finished) pictures lately. So I thought I'd take some time off and do a quick doodle, and here it is! It's in pencil (old skool) because after a discussion about lineart, I found out it's possible to get pens under 0.5mm thickness. Plus it would take extra time to ink it.

I've just bought Equilibrium on DVD, I love that movie, I can watch twice in a row without getting bored. I missed it at the cinema, thanks to it's short theatrical release (bastardos!) But when I was reading a review, I just saw the words 'Gun' and 'Kata' next to each other, and I immediatly knew it was going to be the coolest thing known to man. It didn't even matter how it looked, it was going to be cool. The fact that it lets them do all that stuff meant the gun kata was cooler than I ever imagined it could be!

There are these tailors online that have to finish doing the design, but once they do, I'm going to get a replica of the Tetragramaton Cleric's uniform!!!

You can get mech pens of 0.3 if I remember correctly.

I recommend you do see it! I thought it was going to be some crap Matrix rip off, the plot sounds awful, but it is a really, really good film. I mean, even if you took all the action scenes out, it'd still be a great movie. The action scenes are great aswell, theres no CG stuff or wirework, it's all real. It doesn't last long, but it's cool as hell when it does happen.

I've just bought a 0.2 mm pen, haven't tried it out yet though. I've heard you can get 0.1 stuff, or even ones lower than that, couldn't find any though. I'll go back to inking soon.

Ah inking... a talent that takes quite a while to get used to, and a lifetime to master :)

I'm going to feel really dumb if you hate the movie now...

I absolutely hate inking though. I haven't got a very steady hand, so it goes all over the place. It's a neccesary evil though.

You'll see that you develop stability over time. You'll develop your own tricks and techniques as well :)

Your pic is Hella cool, like the lighting on the coat and the shading is cool also! i thought the Gun Kata was awesome aswell 8)

I am so glad I'm not the only one! The clerics were so cool, I'm getting the watch and the coat as soon as I get the money! I've already watched that film twice this weekend, I can't get enough of it....

I was Probably one of the few people who Actually saw a commercial for this awsome Movie. I was so looking to hate it when I rented it but I would have to say as far as substace this guy would have been the perfect NEO. Fuck miramax for not promoting this film It would of Mad boat loads.

My favorite part and whoever see this knows what I'm talking about "NO NOT WITHOUT INCEDENT......I'M COMMING" That was the best action sequence I've ever seen My jaw dropped.

You must see this movie.

I saw the commercial! They ran them quite a lot here, just they only kept the film in cinemas for about two weeks!

I thought this would be really crap too, the same way I knew The One would be crap when I watched it. I was so shocked when I found out this was so cool! My favourite bit was always when he's fighting the sweeper team, after they find the puppy. When he's in the middle of those six people, and he just shoots the fuck out of them at point blank range!! It looks absolutely mad! I definately agree, Bale would be so much better as Neo. I found Reloaded to be quite boring, especially compared to Equilibrium.
