If anything seems suspicious about this pattern, please let me know! I wrote the pattern out a few years ago, and I've never really had anyone test it, other than myself.
A hint: when you're doing all the sc's in rnds 3-6, don't worry about it curling up. When you do the 7th round you can start folding that mass of scs into the pinwheel centre
