my tribute to the master.
i now understand why people spend years photographing the landscapes here.
taken inside yosemite national park. this is such a specatacular viewpoint right here. you have el capitan left center, half dome in the middle, and bridal veil falls right center.
b&w conversion done using photoshop cs.
thanks for looking.

Very impressive b&w landscape indeed. The point of view is amazing. I love the high contrasts, particulary in the sky and on the rocks. This is well composed and really complex. Great photograph, it reminds Ansel Adams indeed.
Yup - something very familiar about this view, even though I've never been anywhere near it. You can indeed see why it's drawn photographers from the beginning of the art. This is a beautifully created example - though that sky is almost distracting!
Absolutely breathtaking. Truely an excelent tribute to Ansel Adams. The valley is such a remarkable place. Amazing sky.
I believe that waterfall is actually Bridal Veil Falls, Yosemite Falls is on the other side of El Capitan.
