I'm not even going to say how long this piece took me. Let's just say that I have little incentive to work this hard for a background again for a long time. It is imperative that you full view. I purposely tinted the preview so you can't see the real thing unless you full view : P

I watched the first episode of One Piece, and I was so humored by Monkey's extendable arms, so I just had to draw this. I originally did an entirely different backgroun, which in itself took me a while... But then I scrapped it and went with the whole ship-theme.

Speaking of themes... I'm gonna submit this as my "Kick in the Head" theme. Sure, okay maybe it's not really a KICK in the head in this pic, but I deserve to bend a few rules! Trust me, I was kicking my *own* head from how long this took me. Okay, now that I think about it, I'd say a good ... *cowers in the corner*... 20 hours??? That's including my first version though. Argh, this took me way too long. Please appreciate it.
