Let me explain this one before anyone assumes anything.

With all the gay rights stuff being flung around, people seem to need to randomly throw out their sexuality.

If you ask me, sexuality isn't one of those things you need to be all proud of. That doesn't mean you should be ashamed of it, mind you. But unless it's relevant to the topic, I don't need to know that you're gay/bi/asexual/straight/whatever.

I suppose I just think sexuality is one of those things that aren't really anyone else's business in the first place. The stranger sitting next to you in a cafe shouldn't care if you're gay as long as you aren't hitting on them, but you shouldn't run around going "GAY PRIDE" and then be surprised when you get weird looks, not because you're gay, but because you're exclaiming it to the world for no reason.

Hope people understand what I mean! If you're not sure, please ask.

Edited as I forgot to say that you're free to use this stamp (and any others I make) as you please. :)

Thank you! :)

I've been more than a little worried about some people taking this stamp the wrong way. :paranoid:

Well, the stamp itself could be taken the wrong way, but your description cleared everything up :D

even though i agree with you on most part, i think your overlooking one thing.
Some people that are gay have been grown up surrounded by people which made them affraid to tell them their gay or ashamed of it..

I myself am pretty anti gay-parade (not anti gay, i'm myself one, not the point) but i do understand that there are people out there for which it has been very hard to even be able to admit to themselves that they are gay... and even though your right that it's not something you should throw arround in public if you don't want strange looks... most of um don't care about the strange looks, and some just go for the shock, almost as if they like the adrenaline of coming out of the closet

I think sexuality is a great thing, but as you said, best kept private ^^

Like the image you made ^^

I know what you mean, actually. I myself am bisexual and I'm not willing to tell my very religious family.

But in the end, I remind myself that it's really none of their business in the first place. Through that simple logic, I feel no shame whatsoever in my sexuality. But I do recognize it's not that easy for a lot of people, especially younger ones.

But you're going to have the loud and obnoxious people no matter the gender or sexual preference, and that's basically what sparked this stamp. :)

it's sad to me when someone introduses themselfs with their sexuality.
Like...
"Hi, I'm Joe, and I'm bisexual".
It's like... I really, really, really couldn't care less if you likes boys or girls or whatever x__x

I don't mean to intrude, but if you don't want your family to know don't post it anywhere online, I made that mistake. My mom got nosey and went on my DA sight where I had been talking to my girl. Mom came to me to ask me about it but I got scared and denied it. So just becareful what you put online. But I agree you shouldent be ashamed of your sexuality but you also shouldent go around telling everyone about it.

Yeah, that's what I was basically trying to get across. :)

It sucks that you had to hide it when she asked, though. Noone should have to LIE about their sexuality. But some people are still in the Dark Ages with their way of thinking, I suppose.

Weird as this sounds, I've been wanting to say something to those kind of people, but have never been able to put it into words...
I'd like, want this as a bumper sticker. Seriously. :D
